Beijing Municipality: main assignment
    Since March 1, 2003 the Company has a broad assignment with Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. (BSAM) with a focus on the National Stadium, the National Swimming Center, development of new business and the new corporate brochure. The Company also moved its main office into BSAM¹s offices.
    Earlier, in July 2002, G. Van Kerckhove was assigned to the Beijing Development Planning Commission to promote the Ownership Tenders and facilitate contacts with investors.
    The Company is also the advisor of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau and Beijing Foreign Investment Service Center (BFISC).
Market Access
    The Company provides personalized guidance related to market access and penetration strategy to companies interested in particular in the modernization and preparation of Beijing for the 2008 Olympics.
Seminars
    The Company assisted a major group in preparing a series of international seminars to be held in Beijing; topics will be related to a wide range of projects to prepare the city for the 2008 Olympics. It also assists some countries to set up seminars and meetings to promote their capabilities in assisting Beijing in its modernization drive and new infrastructure projects.
US based "GT Communications Group" (GTC)
    Initially GTC (formerly "GoldenThread") planned a carrier-neutral major submarine landing station in San Luis Obispo (California) for submarine telecom cables. G. Van Kerckhove assisted for the strategy and business plan, for the original landing station and later for the concept of a regional high-security zone for the protection of nuclear power plants as well as the submarine cable network.
Telecommunications
    The Company closely follows the telecommunications market in China, mostly in the area of mobile systems and demand for international bandwidth (submarine cables).
US & Europe based Financial Institutions
    The Company supplies tailor-made reports to evaluate the market position and prospects for specific companies in several areas such as telecom, electric power industry and other.
    Examples: UTSTARCOM, QUALCOMM, China Unicom, mobile handset market.

Investment analysis - Tianjin Crude & LPG JV
    The Company finalized a detailed study of a major investment project in Tianjin for the bulk import of liquid chemicals and petroleum products, in particular for car LPG and crude oil. The 30-page study in English covers major aspects of the Joint Venture in Tanggu, Tianjin, such as the port terminal, storage and handling facilities and a pipeline from Tanggu to Beijing. The study led to a complete strategy review.
Dispute mediation - JV
    The Company assisted a European Joint Venture in its serious dispute with the Chinese partner, analyzing the contract, Articles of Associations and relevant agreements and documents to assess the main issues. It coordinated with BFISC to involve the competent Chinese officials and co-organized meetings between the Chinese authorities and the JV partners.
Theme Parks & related equipment
    Market survey for theme parks and related equipment, including identification of industrial partners in Beijing. US-based manufacturers and investors.
Environmental Utilities
    Market investigation related to environmental projects (water supply, sewage treatment and related) for European companies
Technical & Management Expertise Program
    Investigation for a European Group of retired executives and scholars to join programs in China for technical and management assistance.
Training
    Assistance to a major German Institute for Interpreters to establish a new school in Beijing.
    Preparation of a new Management Skills Training Program, focused on the financial sector (banks - commercial and financial departments of companies).
Review of Investment/Divestment Projects
    Analysis of investment opportunities to take over certain companies within Beijing Capital Iron & Steel Company as well as other Chinese companies in the Beijing Municipal who wish to divest part of their assets or diversify their operations.
Resorts and Commercial Centers
    Assistance for the design and strategy for new resort and commercial zoning in the far North (Suifenghe) and in the far South of China. Assistance for real estate development in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.
