27 September 2001 - Vice Mayor Zhang Mao addresses the Concerns of the Foreign Business Community

On 27 September 2001 Vice Mayor Zhang invited senior representatives of nearly twenty foreign chambers of commerce for a buffet lunch in the Ascott, Beijing. Chambers included: the American Chamber, the US-China Business Council, the German Chamber, the French Chamber, the European Chamber, the Spanish Chamber and others.
The event was organized through BFISC.

During the lunch the Vice Mayor discussed with each representative in an informal way to understand the concerns of the foreign business community. Many issues were brought forward, including difficulties in the daily work of investors and businesspeople as well as the security after the events of September 11. The pictures show the lively discussions, giving the Vice Mayor little opportunity to visit the buffet.
