On 25 October the Beijing Municipal
Development Planning Commission (BDPC) held a News Conference in
the Beijing International Hotel, "Beijing Olympic Sports Venues
and Related Facilities Ownership Tender Project".
Mr. Shen Baochang, director of BDPC
presided the conference.
About 200 journalists and representatives from various embassies
attended.
The BDPC also presented the consultants and individuals assisting
the Commission in its work.
Vice Mayor Liu Jingmin attended the
Conference an gave a speech while Mr. Liu Zhi, Vice Director of
BDPC and in charge of the 2008 Olympic Projects gave a presentation
on the seven tenders. The Conference ended with a Questions and
Answers session.
